PS12

BiomaxID PS-12 is a regulated access control power supply designed for powering face recognition terminals, fingerprint readers, electric locks, and exit buttons in one centralized unit. It delivers stable 12V DC output with built‑in overload and short‑circuit protection — making it a reliable companion for any biometric access control installation.
The PS-12 supports both fail-secure (strike locks) and fail-safe (maglocks) configurations via jumper selection. A built‑in backup battery connector (battery sold separately) ensures your face recognition terminal and door locks remain operational during power outages — critical for high‑security areas and remote job sites.
Installation is simplified with a metal enclosure, and screw terminals for Wiegand readers, exit buttons, and alarm relays. The PS-12 is regulatory approved (CE, FCC, RoHS) and works seamlessly with BiomaxID series terminals as well as third‑party access control systems.
For integrators replacing older linear supplies or building new systems from scratch, the PS-12 offers an affordable, code‑compliant power solution that reduces callbacks caused by underpowered locks or unstable voltage.
